Fire Incident in Flat Kitchen: 5 Displaced Temporarily

Following a fire incident in an apartment in Tower 8 of Hiya Flats in Hulhumale Phase 2 today, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has arranged temporary shelter for five residents. The incident occurred in the kitchen of apartment H8-19-06. Although the fire has been extinguished, the apartment is heavily affected by smoke, rendering it uninhabitable for the time being. The NDMA has provided temporary accommodation and meals for the five individuals for the next three days. No physical injuries were reported in this incident.
