Missing Person Found on Island Shore

A person who went missing from a fishing boat engaged in bait fishing in the north of Maldives has been found on the shore of an island this morning. The MNDF stated that after a report was received about a person missing from the fishing boat named "Bahuru", which was bait fishing off the southern side of Hdh. Hondahfushi, where a resort is operated, the Coast Guard found him washed ashore on Hondahfushi while searching for him. The person was reported missing to the MNDF Coast Guard after 4 AM this morning. The MNDF said the missing person was found about two hours later by individuals searching in a dinghy. He was taken to the Hdh. Hanimadhoo Health Center for immediate treatment, and the center reported that his condition is good after treatment. The MNDF has not provided any information about the person.
