Government causing irreparable harm to citizens: MP Maaroof

Kandhoo constituency MP Maaroof Zakir stated that the policies of President Muizzu's government are causing irreparable harm to the Maldivian state and its citizens. He believes that the public should not remain silent while the nation's situation deteriorates, and that the current term should not be allowed to conclude without change. The MP highlighted that development projects have halted due to the government's failure to pay contractors, and that the only fiscal measure taken is increasing taxes, which he described as destructive to large businesses.
