Government Aims to Facilitate Reintegration: Ahsan

Minister of Homeland Security, Labor, and Technology, Ali Ihsaan, stated that a primary goal of the government is to provide opportunities for individuals recovering from drug addiction to reintegrate into society. Minister Ihsaan made these remarks during a ceremony to present certificates to participants who completed the Drug Court's treatment program. He emphasized that the current government's drug policy prioritizes familiarizing rehabilitated individuals with society. Information was also provided regarding the establishment of rehabilitation centers across the Maldives, with the center in N. Velidhoo expected to be completed by December.
