Time to unite MDP and defeat the government: Shahidh

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) President Abdulla Shahidh has stated that it is time to unite the party's ranks and defeat President Muizzu's government. Congratulating former President Mohamed Nasheed on winning the MDP Chairperson election, Shahidh said this is the time to start the work of defeating the government and establishing an MDP administration as desired by the people. Shahidh noted that the MDP Chairperson election was the largest internal political activity held by a political party recently. He also thanked all members who embodied the spirit of democracy and the party volunteers who conducted the election peacefully.
