Teacher shortage in some schools causes teaching issues: Ihusan

Former Deputy Minister of Education Mohamed Ihusan stated that the issue of not being able to teach certain subjects due to a lack of teachers in some schools has become significant. He mentioned that foreign teachers coming to Maldives face difficulties due to recent changes in remittance policies, and their requests for solutions have not been addressed. Ihusan emphasized that the government must resolve these challenges faced by foreign teachers to ensure quality education for Maldivian students. He also noted that if these difficulties persist, foreign teachers may not continue their service in the Maldives.
